RMS Beauty Living Luminzer

A product that surely needs very little introduction, Living Lumizer is a real cult favourite and one of the few organic make-up products which has made it big time - Make-up Artists Kenneth Soh and Alice Lane are both big fans as are Miranda Kerr and Gisele!

I can't believe it has taken me this long to write about this little gem. I have probably had Living Lumizer in my kit for over two years but for some reason I've not gotten around to writing about it.

For those of you not in the know (where have you been?!), Living Luminizer is a highlighter (or Illuminator) and is the best selling product of the RMS Beauty collection. A champagne coloured (kinda white with gold bits) cream with a sheer satin pearl finish, it also works on pretty much every skin tone I have tried it on thus far.

Rich in raw, organic coconut oil and castor seed oil both of which nourish the skin (and are also known for their anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties), plus the inclusion Vitamin E means that it is a real skin pleaser. Do not be fooled by it's rich and creamy, coconut-y formulation, Living Luminizer is neither greasy or sticky.

Conventional (and many natural) Highlighters are frequently over shimmery and contain large glitter particles which make them too obvious and can look a little odd at the end of the day. The beauty of this is that It is subtle. Living Luminizer' sheer formulation gives the illusion of a natural, radiant glow, enhancing features rather than making the wearer look like an extra from an early 80's Meatloaf video (I'm thinking Dead Ringer For Love in particular)...

Worn over tinted moisturiser, foundation or even neat on the skin, you can apply it with a brush however Living Luminizer works best if applied using your fingers; it melts slightly in contact with the warmth of the skin and blends like a dream. Apply it to anywhere which needs a little lift; along the length of the nose; a dot on the cuspids bow; cheek and brow bones; shoulders and collarbones; corners of the eyes and centre of the eyelids; I have even applied it to the knees and hands before now!

If you haven't tried it yet then I urge you to give it a go. If you have, are you a fan?

Living Luminizer is available online and in-store from (amongst others) Content and is priced at £30.00.

RMS Beauty was established in 2008 and is the brainchild of New York based Make-up Artist Rose-Marie Swift. After suffering her own health problems and concerned by the levels of toxins in many traditional brands, Rose-Marie looked to creating a range of luxury make-up products that did not compromise the well-being of the wearer.
